do you know what time it is?
“Touching him was always so important to me. It was something I lived for. I never could explain why. Little, nothing touches. My fingers against his shoulder. The outsides of our thighs touching as we squeezed together on the bus. I couldn’t explain it, but I needed it. Sometimes I imagined stitching all of our little touches together. How many hundreds of thousands of fingers brushing against each other does it take to make love?”

…I have been burying my brain and soul in this book the past few days. I love when I get lost in words that are so brilliant I wish I could memorize every single line and breath them to other people. Jonathan Safran Foer and Nicole Krauss have become my king and queen of literature. I like to imagine them sitting in a beautiful apartment in New York, where the light sweeps in through large floor to ceiling windows. They sit at old wooden desks with coffee cup stains and thousands of papers flood the floor with ideas that come to their brilliant minds. I can only imagine the conversations they have with one another, and the romantic things they whisper to one another in the morning. I have become so fascinated with them, because they have been able to completely capture my whole being in their stories. AHH I just love good books.
